Production of meat in Tunisia 2021, by type
In 2021, the total meat production in Tunisia corresponded to nearly 370 thousand metric tons. Chicken production amounted to over 150 thousand metric tons, accounting for almost half of the total. Other main types of meat produced in the country were from turkey, sheep, and cattle.
